In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 news and magazines applications on the Android platform in Portugal showed varying trends in weekly downloads and active users. The following insights are based on data from Sensor Tower.

SAPO experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at around 600 downloads in late March, the app saw a peak of approximately 873 downloads in the week of April 24. However, the downloads gradually declined to about 376 by the end of June.
